Our range of bread loaves and rolls are hand-made and artisan style, with the emphasis being on a “real bread” look. While accepting that it is not possible to make gluten free bread that tastes like wheat bread, we have developed a range of loaves and rolls which look like real bread and have the crust, texture and mouth feel of real, bakery-style bread.
In keeping with our old fashioned “real bread” look we do not slice our bread loaves. This is partly to preserve our “bakery-style” aesthetic and partly because we are unwilling to make the compromises of texture and moisture content required to allow us to slice the bread with a mechanical slicer. All of our bread loaves are wheat free, gluten free, dairy free, egg free, nut free and yeast free.
Our bread roll products are hand-rolled from stiff dough, giving them a traditional appearance. This is in stark contrast to most gluten free rolls available on the Australian market which are made from a thin batter, deposited mechanically into a muffin pan or scone tin, giving them a very different look. All of our bread rolls are wheat free, gluten free, dairy free, egg free and nut free.
